  4. When your algo rules will come true, orders will now be placed directly in Zerodha (based on your capital settings and subject to funds availibility in broker's account)

Building More Advanced Strategies

Level 1: Simple Indicator Strategy (Beginner)

Example: RSI Buy Strategy

  • Buy when RSI(14) < 30

  • Sell when RSI > 50

Use cases:

  • Swing trading

  • Mean reversion

Level 2: Multi‑Condition Strategy (Intermediate)

Example: Trend + Momentum

Buy when:

  • Price > EMA(50)

  • RSI > 55

  • Volume > 20‑period average

This reduces false signals.

Level 3: Time‑Based & Market Filters

Add controls like:

  • Trade only between 9:30 – 11:30

  • Avoid trading on expiry day

  • Skip first 15 minutes

These filters improve consistency.

Level 4: Options Strategies (Advanced)

FindNex supports:

  • ATM / OTM selection

  • Expiry auto‑selection

  • SL & trailing SL

Example:

  • Buy ATM CE when BankNifty breaks previous high

  • SL = 20%, Target = 40%

Level 5: Portfolio & Risk Management (Pro)

Advanced users can:

  • Limit max daily loss

  • Stop all algos after X losses

  • Run multiple algos with capital caps

This is how professional desks operate.

Common Beginner Mistakes (Avoid These)

❌ Running live without paper testing
❌ No stop loss
❌ Over‑optimizing indicators
❌ Trading too many symbols

✔ Simple strategies work best.
